Memorie Digitali. Ritratti aumentati

Online

Faces, voices, and stories that narrate the digital as a human and collective experience.

Digital Memories. Augmented Portraits is a workshop and augmented reality exhibition created in Matera at the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti, in collaboration with Bepart.

Through a process of learning and experimentation, participants interviewed key figures from the cultural life of Basilicata — artists, curators, researchers, and cultural operators — to reflect on the meaning of the digital in everyday and artistic practices.

The black-and-white photographs of the protagonists become interactive thresholds: when scanned with the Bepart app, they come to life, revealing their voices, memories, and emotions.

The result is a living archive of memories and relationships, where technology becomes a poetic language and a tool for connection — amplifying presence and preserving the essence of encounter.
